24 Nov St Andrew’s Day Agape Eucharist
St Andrew’s Day is on Thursday November 30th.
We celebrate this by having supper together in the context of an ‘agape eucharist’. Basically, that means that certain prayers come in between courses and the bread and wine is blessed, broken and shared after the main course. It’s a fantastic mix of the social and the spiritual. In honour of St Andrew’s association with Scotland, we will be eating haggis (though there is a veggie option). Sign up on the sheet at the back of St Andrew’s. All proceeds to Fircroft Trust, our charity of the month. Arrive at 7, though we won’t start properly till a bit afterwards.
