07 Apr Compline
Our next church Zoom service will be Compline (night prayer) for Wednesday in Holy Week.
This is tomorrow night Wednesday 8 April at 8pm.
You would be very welcome to join us from 7.50pm onwards.
If you regularly receive weekly emails from Robert an invitation to the service will be in your inbox from this afternoon, with details on how to join the service by Zoom.
If you do not receive Robert’s weekly emails please email the parish office at firstname.lastname@example.org and you will be added to the distribution list. You will then receive the invitation to tomorrow’s online Compline service and for all future online services that we are planning to do in the next few weeks.
In case you are not familiar with Compline, it is traditionally the last service of the day. It is calming and meditative, and there will be a time for silent prayer. It is a chance to de-stress and put your cares on the Lord.
If it is safe for you to do so, you would be very welcome to light a candle to have on your screen with you.
Because it is a quiet service you will be on mute when you first join us. You are asked to remain on mute throughout – so all you can hear is the officiant, cantor and reader, and silence. The words to be used will be shared during the service.
