REV’D CAROLE BOURNE

Assistant minister

Carole Bourne had a parish in East Molesey, Guildford Diocese, before she retired in 2012. She arrived in this parish at the beginning of 2014 and immediately felt at home with the open, liberal approach to worship and Christian life. She helps with services and other jobs around the parish. Her focus has always been on social justice. She is a Kingston street pastor and represents the Church of England on the national committee of the Women’s World Day of Prayer. Carole has two grown up children and seven granddaughters

REV’D JANICE PRICE

Assistant Curate

Janice Price is Assistant Curate at St Andrews and St Marks. She was ordained Deacon in June 2021 and Priest in July 2023 and loves being in the parish. Before ordination she was World Mission Adviser for the Archbishops’ Council of the Church of England. In that role she met people and travelled across the Anglican Communion which was a privilege and an inspiration.

For 33 years Janice was a Licensed Lay Minister in the Church of England and in this capacity worked in urban, rural and suburban parishes in Inner London, Worcestershire and Surbiton.

JACKIE ROBBS

Reader

Jackie Robbs is a lay reader, a ministry focussed on teaching and preaching. She trained in 1991-4, while she was working as a Civil Servant in central London. After spending time in Guildford diocese, she returned to Southwark when she joined the parish in 2017. Her particular interest is in encouraging and leading groups for Bible study and prayer. Jackie is married with two sons in their twenties.

SIMON HARVEY

Director of Music

Simon was born in Kingston upon Thames in 1971.   He attended Hinchley Wood School and Esher College before going on to study at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London which he also combined with 2 years as organ scholar at Chelmsford Cathedral.  Simon combines work as a piano/keyboard teacher in schools, choral accompanist and examiner.

Jay Turland

Operations Manager

Janine is the Operations Manager at St Andrew and St Mark’s, overseeing facilities and premises management and hires.  Janine is also the person to speak to about hiring the church and hall regular hire or an occasional hire such as a birthday party and for concerts.

JANENE OLIVIER

Parish Administrator

Janene is our Parish Administrator at St Andrew and St Mark’s, dealing with admin for our church services. Janene is the person you need to contact about baptisms, weddings, banns readings and funerals.

Janene works term time only, Tuesday to Friday 9.00am-1.00 pm in the parish office at St Mark’s Church.
