Giving

Financially, the parish needs to support itself

The church functions on many levels and while a high proportion of our costs relate to keeping two historic church buildings in good shape, they also relate to personnel: paying for parish clergy (not just in our church but contributing to the wider diocese), for a director of music and a parish administrator. Please watch this video as Robert, vicar of St Andrew & St Mark’s, explains income and expenditure in our parish:

We all have differing financial circumstances but what we have in common is that God has been generous to us. So we ask members of our congregation to join our Planned Giving scheme, but you can also give with a one-off payment.
